Continuity

On our first day of filming we paid very close attention to continuity. We found this very difficult to attain as we had to pay very close attention to the mise en scene. As we wanted to film shots 2,6&7 in the same day to make sure that the lighting was the same. We were able to film the party scenes later on in the day as it only required to be filmed indoors.

Even though it was filmed indoor (lucks hallway) we did have to wait for it to get darker because we wanted the lights to be as bright a possible. As we filmed in Lucys hallway the light coming through her front door was a problem.

Whilst filming the glitch and the party scene we marked the floor with masking tape so that Lucy walked on the same line so the scenes matched when creating a 'glitch'. The lighting for the glitch scene was very dim and we decided to increase the brightness on the clip and we found that it tied the whole 'glitch' scenes together very nicely.

The complications we had with the door scene (scene 2&6) is that we needed to make sure that the lighting from the window indoors did not affect the shot. So we covered the window with blanket. Another complication we had is that whilst Lucy was opening the door the party lights could be seen. Here are some of our attempts with these scenes.
